Services

General Practioner
We are quite happy for residents to retain the services of their GP where possible. If residents come for admission from a distance and their own GP is unable to visit then our own Homes doctor will take over their medical care.

Chiropody
The Homes chiropodist visits on a monthly basis. Residents who wish to retain the services of their own chiropodist are able to do so.

Hairdressing Salon
We have a dedicated hairdressing room utilized by the Homes own hairdresser who visits three times a week or alternatively if a resident wishes to retain their own hairdresser they are quite welcome to use our facilities.

Complimentary Therapies
The Homes reflexologist and aromatherapist visit on a monthly basis, other domiciliary visits by physiotherapists, opticians, dentists etc can be arranged by appointment.

Religion
A regular communion service is held monthly, clergy of other denominations can be called upon to visit those who may wish their services.

Shop
We have a selection of items on sale in the main reception area for the convenience of residents should they wish to make a purchase. These include toiletries i.e. shampoo, bubble bath, toothpaste, deodorant, tissues, etc and stationary i.e. writing paper, envelopes, pens and stamps. All items can be charged to an account or paid for in cash.

Newspaper and Library Service
A selection of local and national newspapers are delivered to the Home on a daily basis. A varied selection of books including large print are available for reading from the in house library, or alternatively we have volunteers who visit the home regularly and will obtain any specific book from the local library.
